Babette's is a unique mix of farmhouse and bistro, warmly
lit and friendly. It is nestled between Atlanta's Inman Park
and Poncey Highlands neighborhoods and offers lovely views
of Freedom Parkway from its glorious back deck.
Chef owner, Marla Adams, creates dishes that hail the changing
seasons. Summer brings fragrant paella bursting with lusty
portions of the freshest seafood and saffron. The cooling
autumn breezes usher in cassoulet, robust with duck and lamb
in a succulent broth.
The cuisine is a little French, Italian, Spanish, and Mediterranean,
with classical preparations from the villages and countryside.
Marla describes her food in the vernacular, in the same way
that one would describe architecture, "It is natural,
simple, rustic and earthy; it is unique to Atlanta."
